Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Northhampton, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating respiratory care services for patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' respiratory status and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Perform routine maintenance on respiratory equipment and troubleshoot technical issues
Requirements:
  • Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) certification
  • 1-2 years of acute care experience
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle a multi-task environment
  • Basic PC skills
