This is a permanent, full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in a diverse range of litigation matters. As a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney, you will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will be expected to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Responsibilities:- Provide legal counsel and guidance on a variety of legal issues, including insurance defense, civil litigation, product liability, construction law, and professional liability.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to develop case strategies and prepare for trial.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all client and firm interactions.
- Stay updated on current legislation and legal developments relevant to our practice areas.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must have an active license to practice law in the state.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense, civil litigation, product liability, construction law, and professional liability.
- Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong research and report writing skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
- High level of attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Commitment to adhere to legal principles, professional ethics, and company policies.
