Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at UCHealth. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations using various modalities, including 2D and 3D imaging
  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures to obtain high-quality images
  • Monitor patient condition and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate
  • Prepare equipment and supplies, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
  • Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
