Our dedicated team employs industry best practices in architectural design, data science, cloud solutions, DevSecOps, and platform integration to create, maintain, and continuously improve the enterprise business systems environment, systems integration, and backend business process workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Scrum Master duties and guide the scrum development team.
- Utilize Agile methodologies and scrum principles to educate and empower team members, providing coaching and training to foster self-organization.
- Serve as a mediator between the scrum team and product owner, assisting in conflict resolution.
- This position allows for remote work; typically, it requires on-site presence twice a week, with flexibility to come in as necessary.
- Leading daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other project-related gatherings, while coaching the team on Scrum principles and best practices.
- Facilitating open discussions and resolving conflicts; identifying and addressing issues that may arise during scrum execution; updating activities in a project management tracking tool.
- Documenting and maintaining product requirements and the backlog.
- Encouraging a collaborative atmosphere, motivating team members to share ideas and tackle challenges.
- Collaborating with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to enhance organizational Agile practices.
Minimum of 8 years with a BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with an MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with a PhD.
Essential Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
- Active TS/SCI OR TS with SCI eligibility with polygraph OR the ability to successfully pass a polygraph is required.
- At least 2 years of experience functioning as a Scrum Master on a Scrum team.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in teaching Agile methodologies to others.
- Certification: Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or equivalent.
- Proficiency with JIRA/Confluence/GitLab/Artifactory.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and scrum practices.
- Familiarity with SAFe methodology.
- Experience within a DevSecOps environment.
- Ability to manage expectations from multiple Product Owners.
- Familiarity with AWS.
- Knowledge of DIA mission applications.
- Experience with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana, Redmine).
- Experience with intelligence collection management applications.
- Background in scrum project management, agile software development, and software version control management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Adept at organizing and motivating teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with multiple Agile teams across different organizations.
