Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate at Butler Supply Inc. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by accurately and timely filling customer orders, receiving and putting away material, and general warehouse organization.
  • Be the face of the company by interacting with customers and co-workers daily, while being physically active and mindfully busy.
  • Support the delivery driver by making deliveries to job sites as needed and contributing to a team atmosphere that is committed to providing our customers with a great experience.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse and counter.
Requirements
  • Able to effectively juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Class E (Chauffer's) license.
  • Good driving record.
  • Knowledge of electrical and/or plumbing supplies a plus.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and organization skills.
  • Effective people skills to deal with customers, employees, and internal associates at all levels.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to exude professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity when dealing with customers, employees, and internal associates at all levels.
  • Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information.
  • Team player, able to work well under pressure.
  • Acceptable computer aptitude.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, walk; use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, reach, or carry.
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently required to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally required to maneuver up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to safely tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
  • Regularly required to talk and hear; read and identify numbers.
  • Regularly required to apply sound reasoning and logic in performing daily tasks.
  • Required to be able to safely operate material handling equipment including a forklift, pallet jack, wire-cutting machine.
