Job Summary

Cub is seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team. As a Bakery Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality bakery products, and maintaining a clean and organized bakery environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product sampling and suggestive selling.
  • Bakery Operations: Prepare bakery products, follow safe food handling and preparation processes, and ensure consistent quality and accuracy in decorating.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure adequate quantities of product and decorating supplies, maintain proper quantities of decorating supplies, and place orders as required.
  • Store Maintenance: Stock, rotate, and face bakery product, pull stales and write down product, quantity, and retail, and prepare sales area by cleaning cases and bins.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist with department merchandising, seasonal resets, and maintaining cross-merchandised product throughout the store.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Lifting up to 50 lbs., carrying up to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling over 50 force pounds, equipment operation, standing, reaching, stooping/bending, squatting, and walking.
  • Mental Demands: Judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, and math.
  • Environmental Demands: Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced bakery environment with frequent exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
