Role Responsibilities

As a Pre-K teacher at Stratford School, you will be tasked with fostering a secure and nurturing educational atmosphere for children aged 3 to 5. Your role will involve creating a warm and joyful environment that stimulates preschoolers' natural curiosity and builds confidence in their abilities.

Your Duties Will Include...

  • Designing, overseeing, and executing a curriculum focused on literacy, numeracy, and foundational skills
  • Collaborating with fellow educators and staff members
  • Engaging in daily communication with parents or guardians
  • Maintaining an organized and stimulating classroom setting

Qualifications We Seek

  • A background in education with a minimum of 12 semesters or 18 quarter units in early childhood education, covering essential areas such as child development, family dynamics, and curriculum design, or a bachelor's degree in child development
  • A nurturing demeanor, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in teaching young learners is preferred
