Position Overview:
As a vital member of the Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant team at Intermountain Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional healthcare services. This position is designed for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is committed to enhancing patient outcomes through collaborative care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Conduct assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans under the supervision of experienced surgeons.
- Monitor and manage both new and existing patients in a clinical environment.
- Perform medical procedures as per specialty guidelines and facilitate referrals when necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and treatment options.
- Document clinical interactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

- BLS certification for healthcare providers, with additional certifications preferred (e.g., ACLS, PALS).
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in cardiology, cardiovascular, or thoracic surgery is highly desirable.
- New graduates with relevant clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.
- Advanced degrees and applicable certifications from recognized organizations are preferred.
