Avera Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Adult Unit team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota
  • Experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably in an adult unit
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
