Key Responsibilities:
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for identifying the necessary resources for quality oversight. This role involves:
- Ensuring consistent quality throughout the software development life cycle;
- Creating comprehensive software quality assurance strategies;
- Establishing and maintaining processes for assessing software and related documentation;
- Engaging in both formal and informal evaluations at key stages of the development life cycle to assess quality;
- Reviewing and analyzing the software quality assurance (SQA) process and suggesting improvements;
- Formulating quality benchmarks.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience with quality control methodologies and tools.
- At least three (3) years of experience in verification and validation, software testing and integration, software metrics, and demonstrated knowledge of system and project life cycles.
