Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiation Oncology department.

• Deliver safe and effective radiation therapy treatments to patients, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in the training and education of students in the School of Radiation Therapy.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and respectful attitude in all interactions.

• Graduation from an approved school of Radiation Therapy Technology.
• A.R.R.T. registration and CT licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1-5 years of clinical radiation therapy experience preferred.

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations. The successful candidate will be required to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.

This position involves working with ionizing radiation, radioactive isotopes, MR, computers, cancer patients, and their families. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment and follow established safety protocols.
