Job Overview:
As a Class A Driver for UNFI, you will be responsible for delivering palletized products to our corporate and independent retail stores across the United States. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with FMCSA regulations and ensure safe transportation of goods.
  • Operate tractor trailers, ramps, lift gates, pallet jacks, and other equipment to deliver and unload products.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including delivery manifests and vehicle maintenance logs.
  • Collaborate with vendors and customers to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve driving skills and knowledge of UNFI's safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience required.
  • Valid medical card and Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a written exam and road test.
  • Basic knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) law and mandates.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
