Childhood Education Program Leader

At Aim High Leadership Center Four Inc, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Childhood Education Program Leader to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in leading our Early Childhood programs and ensuring that all scholars meet or exceed DOE Core Curriculum Content Standards, Early Childhood Framework Standards (EFQ), and Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework (ELOF).
Responsibilities- Develop, organize, implement, coordinate, and evaluate the Early Childhood instructional programs to ensure excellence.
- Supervise the development, organization, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the Early Childhood instructional programs to ensure excellence.
- Implement NYS Common Core/EFQ for 3K/PKA performance/quality standards, policies, and procedures, regulations, and guidelines in the day-to-day operation of an early childhood development center (2 years-5 years of age) including developmentally appropriate practices for a preschool program.
- Create a curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of all scholars in the classroom.
- Maintain a well-organized, safe, authentic, and attractive learning community conducive to the optimal growth and development of scholars.
- Develop and implement an ongoing scholar-centered program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each scholar enrolled and responsible for implementing the 3K/Pre-K for All Interdisciplinary Units of Study/Explore Units of Study.
- Train, encourage, and mentor teachers and other staff.
- Visit classrooms and observe teaching methods for monthly formal and informal feedback.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of child development theories and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including families, staff, and scholars.
- Experience with data collection and analysis, particularly with early childhood assessments.
- Familiarity with remote learning platforms, such as Zoom and Class Dojo.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This includes a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
