We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Fedcap Rehabilitation Services. As a Temporary Speech Language Pathologist, you will work closely with our Program Director to provide high-quality services to our preschool program.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate communication skills, including receptive language, expressive language, articulation, voice, fluency, oral-motor skills, and hearing.
- Develop comprehensive service plans according to program policies and regulations.
- Provide therapy as outlined by treatment plans for communication disorders.
- Maintain professional standards in and out of the center, adhering to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Code of Ethics.
- Instruct and counsel students/clients and/or their families regarding communication impairments and strategies for effective communication.
- Attend IEP meetings, staffing, case conferences, and department meetings.
- Maintain accurate records, including progress notes, reports, evaluations, plans, case conference reports, and discharge summaries.
- Obtain and track insurance authorizations when applicable.
- Contribute to departmental program evaluation and development.
- Function as a case manager and coordinate services as needed.
- Masters Degree or equivalent in Speech Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech/Hearing Association.
- Current state Speech/Language Pathologist license.
- Three years of experience working with young children as a speech/language pathologist (preferred).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
