Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Fedcap Rehabilitation Services. As a Temporary Speech Language Pathologist, you will work closely with our Program Director to provide high-quality services to our preschool program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate communication skills, including receptive language, expressive language, articulation, voice, fluency, oral-motor skills, and hearing.
  • Develop comprehensive service plans according to program policies and regulations.
  • Provide therapy as outlined by treatment plans for communication disorders.
  • Maintain professional standards in and out of the center, adhering to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Code of Ethics.
  • Instruct and counsel students/clients and/or their families regarding communication impairments and strategies for effective communication.
  • Attend IEP meetings, staffing, case conferences, and department meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records, including progress notes, reports, evaluations, plans, case conference reports, and discharge summaries.
  • Obtain and track insurance authorizations when applicable.
  • Contribute to departmental program evaluation and development.
  • Function as a case manager and coordinate services as needed.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree or equivalent in Speech Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech/Hearing Association.
  • Current state Speech/Language Pathologist license.
  • Three years of experience working with young children as a speech/language pathologist (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
