Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to manage all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
  • Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on matters related to labor and employment law.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Draft and negotiate settlement agreements.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop effective litigation strategies.
  • Keep clients informed of case progress and legal developments.
  • Adhere to all professional and ethical rules and standards.
  • Continuously update knowledge on changes and developments in California Employment Law and California Labor Laws.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, with 2-8 years of labor and employment litigation experience preferred.
  • Proven experience drafting briefs, conducting legal research, and managing all aspects of the litigation process.
  • Extensive knowledge of California Employment Law and California Labor Laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • High level of professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to collaboration and continuous learning.
