Job Overview

Northwest Frozen LLC is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our production floor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that production schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and our products meet or exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of production workers to ensure daily productivity standards and quality targets are met.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, ensuring that products meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop and manage production schedules, coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure adequate supplies for uninterrupted production.
  • Identify and resolve any issues that arise during production, including machinery breakdowns, staffing challenges, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GMP guidelines, and food safety protocols throughout the production process.
  • Prepare and present production reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to senior management.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Open-minded and receptive to change while supporting company goals and initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Capable of working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, and CGMP.
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices.
  • Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment.
  • Previous leadership experience in a similar role.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour.
  • Desirable schedule: Friday through Monday, 5:00 am - 3:00 pm.
  • Expected hours: 40-50 hours per week with the expectation of overtime based on business needs.
