Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Polymer Engineer to join our Cell Materials Engineering group at Tesla. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new materials and processes to improve cell performance and efficiency.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional with a strong background in materials science, chemistry, or a related field. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to lead materials from initial concept to cell product, prepare technical reports, and communicate key learnings to internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new materials and processes to improve cell performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineers and scientists to design and optimize cell architectures
  • Analyze and interpret data from various experiments and tests
  • Communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
  • 5+ years of industry experience in materials science or a related field
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
