Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and mental status.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary staffing and training to develop patient care plans.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions from medical staff to provide care and treatment.
  • Respond to emergencies and assist licensed nurses as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by performing tasks such as changing bedding and linens, cleaning equipment, and providing fresh water.
Requirements:
  • Current Arizona State Certified Nursing Assistant License.
  • Current CPR card obtained through physical assessment.
  • Ability to work with difficult people and establish positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
  • One or more years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current Negative TB skin test (Mantoux skin test) within the last 6 months or a written statement from a physician indicating freedom from Tuberculosis.
  • Currently possess or ability to obtain an Arizona Department of Public Safety Class 1 Fingerprint Card.
