Housekeeping Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our hotel team at the Hampton Inn Rockland/Thomaston.

As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring our hotel rooms are clean and well-maintained to provide our guests with a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards
  • Change linens, make beds, and restock towels and toiletries as needed
  • Vacuum and dust guest rooms and common areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of hallways, carts, and closets
  • Stock and organize carts with supplies and amenities
  • Respond to guest requests and ensure their satisfaction with their room experience
  • Share a warm greeting and a smile with all the guests you encounter
  • Report any maintenance issues or needed repairs to management
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and healthy environment for guests and staff

Requirements
  • Must be able to push, pull, bend, lift and stand for long periods of time
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions such as bending and stretching
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
