Job Summary

Seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to lead our Joiner/Insulation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervision, with the ability to drive accountability and lead with fairness, consistency, respectfulness, and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel, ensuring adherence to technical aspects of the job, including drawings and procedures. Responsible for manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations that have a significant financial impact on the company's performance. Perform management duties, including Safety, Quality, Cost, and Schedule. Additional common management responsibilities include reviewing and adhering to policies and procedures, as outlined in the Shipbuilding Management Charter 0001.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of Joiner/Insulation experience or Ingalls Joiner/Insulation Apprenticeship. Internal candidates must have a superior attendance and disciplinary record, with no more than 3 unexcused absences in the last 180 days and no safety DANS resulting in disciplinary layoff in the last 180 days. All candidates must be willing to work any shift.
