Are you passionate about maintaining a clean and organized environment? As a Facility Maintenance Associate at YMCA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our facility remains welcoming and safe for all visitors. Your primary responsibility will be to perform comprehensive cleaning tasks, including locker room upkeep.

We are currently looking for MALE facility maintenance associates who can effectively manage the cleanliness of our men's locker rooms, along with other essential duties outlined below.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the facility by following a daily cleaning checklist.
  • Carry out tasks such as mopping, dusting, trash disposal, recycling, window cleaning, vacuuming, and seasonal maintenance activities like lawn care and snow removal.
  • Document and report any necessary repairs and alert supervisors to hazardous conditions.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Preferred experience of six months or more in a related field.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, procedures, manuals, and other relevant documents, as well as document work as required.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must possess sufficient physical strength and agility to perform essential job functions.
  • Capability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Experience working with various cleaning equipment and chemical solutions in different forms.
  • Ability to work in environments that may generate dirt and dust.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy are essential.
  • Willingness to perform tasks that may include reaching overhead, crouching, kneeling, shoveling, carrying, and working in confined spaces.
