- UT Health Henderson operates 41 beds, a 24-hour emergency department, recognized as a Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center, equipped with surgical facilities, advanced diagnostic tools, a maternity unit, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and an accredited sleep center.

The Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a professional caregiver, utilizing the nursing process to deliver and oversee patient care for assigned patients within a specified timeframe.
- Exhibits competence, compliance, and precise documentation throughout care delivery, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act, Standards of Practice, and Hospital & Departmental Policies and Procedures.
- Regularly addresses the needs of patients and their families, performing department-specific tasks with exceptional organizational skills, efficiency, and fiscal responsibility.
- Delivers outstanding customer service, fosters teamwork, and communicates effectively using SBAR principles in all job-related interactions.
- Continuously analyzes and evaluates assessment data to develop a comprehensive clinical understanding, employing supervisory skills and the nursing process to independently and collaboratively provide exemplary patient care.
- Contributes to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
- Engages in professional development, participates in professional organizations, unit councils, and quality improvement initiatives to promote personal and institutional growth.
Essential Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Current Texas RN License must be maintained.
- BLS certification is required.
