Special Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Inspector to join our team at Stealth Construction Company. As a Special Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Perform special inspections to verify compliance with approved construction documents, including shop drawings, codes, specifications, and standards.
• Conduct testing and inspection of various construction materials and methods, including steel bolting, welding, and detailing, concrete placement, testing, and reinforcement, asphalt quality checks, soil compaction assessments, fireproofing, fire-stopping, and fire-resistance-rated construction, plant inspections, masonry inspection, and adhesive and mechanical anchors and pull testing.
• Prepare detailed reports of inspections and tests, verifying compliance with approved construction documents.
• Submit reports within 24 hours to the office, ensuring they meet the format requirements of the Department of Buildings or other responsible agencies.
• Immediately issue and log non-conforming reports to the contractor, owner, construction manager, and design professional, and keep track of rectifications.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications and previous experience in material testing and special inspections.
• Strong communication skills for effective coordination with management, clients, and construction teams.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and maintaining strict compliance with safety protocols.
