RESPONSIBILITIES
The Repair & Maintenance Manager oversees all facets of operating the R&M Facility(s). This includes providing overall direction, planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution concerning Safety, Quality, and Cost with all direct and support personnel at the facility. The R&M Manager is also accountable for achieving the assigned Key Performance Indicators and Objectives defined timely to meet operational demands and business needs. This will be accomplished through consistent implementation and daily execution of our global R&M standards, ensuring user compliance throughout the R&M cycle.

- Pursues continual improvement in Health, Safety, Security & environmental protection, considering responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer, and employee inputs, knowledge, technology, and best business practices to exceed customer expectations.
- Supervisors & Managers should exemplify effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and any visitors on the Company premises.
- Maintain appropriate Job Safety Analysis (JSA) / Hazard Risk Assessment (HRA) for all R&M workshop associated tasks, ensuring all employees and tasks are executed in a safe manner and condition, providing an incident-free environment.
- Conduct weekly Hazard Hunts to proactively identify, address, or mitigate opportunities to injure employees.
- Execute all other communicated HSE best practices as shared by Global R&M HQ promptly and effectively as applicable to your facility.
- Responsible for alignment with Weatherford & Industry Quality policies and GPL standards, actively participating in the compliance, adherence, and execution of all products and services flowing through the R&M facility.
- Maintain acceptable service quality performance and output across all areas of the workshop, continually seeking and communicating areas for improvement and enhancement to GPL and the global R&M team.
- Effectively manage cross-functional relationships, expectations, and consistent communication with other departments to support effective use of manpower, materials, and equipment, driving productivity and ensuring on-time delivery (OTD) daily to meet operational needs.
- Operate fully in accordance with HUB, Spoke, and COE models established for your respective area.
- Interface with Company engineers, strategic sourcing, project management, human resources, logistics, customer service, and accounting personnel regarding facility operations, process optimization, methods development, personnel development, outside supplier development and performance, strategic project implementation, quotes, and order management for analyzing and preparing monthly financial reporting.
- Oversee planning and scheduling of production and authorize all necessary resources to meet OTD expectations within the R&M budget.
- Develop and implement improvements to productivity, cost management, and inventory management, including evaluating and maintaining appropriate levels of R&M parts responsible for OTD.
- Ensure proper use, care, and preventive maintenance for all R&M workshop equipment, providing optimal working conditions and utilization to maximize personnel productivity while minimizing repair costs and downtime affecting OTD.
- Responsible for the collaboration, implementation, and execution of continuous improvement activities, ensuring that Lean concepts are integrated into the design, build, and daily operations of the R&M facility locations, driving optimized OTD and Cost.
- Various continuous improvement or development projects as assigned.
- Drives and maintains effective visibility and communications with all key stakeholders and employees, both internal and external (where appropriate), enabling smooth daily operation of the R&M facility efficiently.
- All employees are accountable to the organization to be financially responsible, whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses.
- Costs incurred should be within the approved budget, processed within agreed time frames, and following the relevant financial policies, processes, and procedures.
- Effectively manage routine R&M projects, including establishing operating budgets, cost justification, quoting equipment and contractors, maintaining records, executing deliverables, and meeting time and cost constraints.
- Oversee budget for operating costs and review and control expenditures at the facility to ensure that the facility's expenditures remain within annual budget expectations.
- Leads, mentors, and supervises the R&M employees, as well as other facility personnel responsible for personnel management; plans for personnel changes, forecasts changes in personnel levels, and sources local recruits.
- All employees should engage regularly with their manager to discuss their personal performance, objectives, and opportunities to enhance their skills and experience to support their career and developmental potential.
- Actively engage employees to support talent management through Weatherford's performance management process, including but not limited to talent assessments, succession planning, and regular coaching opportunities.
- Collaborate with Human Resources & Training Development to drive strategies for the recruitment & retention of key personnel and to foster an environment that supports the attraction & retention of a high-performing talented workforce.
- Demonstrates leadership, ethical behavior, and adherence to Weatherford standards at all times.
- Lead by example and always conduct yourself in a safe and respectful manner, requiring the same of your employees.
REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree or experience equivalent to 10+ years in R&M and/or manufacturing
- 5-8 years minimum experience in a manufacturing or R&M setting with hands-on involvement in leading productivity improvement through setup reduction, tooling enhancements, etc.
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience with multiple direct reports
- Legally authorized to work in the assigned location.
- Fundamental Lean Training and background knowledge of lean principles
- Strong understanding and experience in the oil & gas industry
- Experience working in a multi-product line plant serving international customers
- Ability to interact in the language relevant to the local plant
