Palm Health Resources is seeking a seasoned Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner to join their team in an Operating Room based heart surgery position in New York.
This is a locum contract opportunity to provide ongoing support to a well-run hospital. The initial contract can be 3 or 6 months with an option to extend.
The ideal candidate will have experience in heart surgery and be able to serve as a point of education and support for PAs with 2 years of experience.
The position involves primarily teaching in the OR and first assisting, with some ICU responsibilities. The program uses Maquet and has a high volume of 6-8 hearts per week, with a focus on CABGs and valves.
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive package including paid malpractice, lodging, rental car or mileage, travel, and other benefits.
