Winholt Equipment is seeking a skilled Fabrication Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of aluminum and stainless steel parts using MIG and/or TIG processes.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate welding machines based on job requirements and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specific welding requirements.
- MIG and TIG weld aluminum and stainless steel components to meet quality standards.
- Ensure a safe working environment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Operate machinery and equipment used in the production process.
- Assemble items as instructed by the production supervisor.
- Follow company rules and policies and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Certification from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.
- One year of related experience and/or training is required.
- Experience with aluminum and/or stainless steel and MIG and TIG welding is required.
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 60 pounds consistently is required.
- Ability to identify and measure material and produce quality products consistently.
- Ability to follow instructions given verbally and in written form.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
