About the Role:

The Health Care Nutritionist will play a critical role in the development and implementation of nutrition-based interventions aimed at improving patient outcomes. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and provide education to patients and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patient nutrition status for impact on disease process using current Medical Nutrition therapy.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to correct nutrition deficits and achieve optimal nutrition outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines for nutrition-related conditions.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification or eligible for RD certification within 6 months of hire date.
  • Minimum 1 year hospital clinical experience in nutrition or related field.
