We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician to join our team at Riverside Healthcare, a leading healthcare organization committed to delivering exceptional patient care and experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, record, and maintain accurate patient information, including medical histories, reports, and examination results.
- Manage and treat patients within the scope of practice, ensuring high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
- Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose patients' medical conditions and develop effective treatment plans.
- Communicate complex medical information to patients in a clear and concise manner, addressing their concerns and questions.
- Monitor patients' conditions and progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, education, and evidence-based practices to provide reliable and high-value care.
- Utilize electronic medical records to track patient visits and information related to the physician-patient encounter.
- Expertly perform Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding for Physicians, ensuring accurate and efficient documentation.
- Work a full-time schedule of at least 40 hours of direct patient care, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Participate in on-call duties during the week and on weekends, as required by the specialty.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid Illinois Medical License (or ability to obtain IL Medical License).
- Valid Illinois Controlled Substances License (or ability to obtain IL License).
- Board eligible or Board Certified.
