Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for providing direct care to residents, including assisting with daily living activities, transporting residents to and from activities and appointments, and performing treatments as directed by licensed nurses. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Transport residents to and from activities and appointments as assigned.
  • Perform treatments as directed by licensed nurses, including administering medications and providing wound care.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and safe resident environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in providing high-quality care.
Requirements:
  • NYS Certified Nursing Assistant credentials.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with reading, comprehension, and writing ability at 12th grade level or higher.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
