Position Summary
The Logistics Associate plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction by ensuring the accurate and safe handling of materials.
- Unload products efficiently
- Verify product quality and accuracy
- Utilize RF devices for receiving and organizing inventory
- Report discrepancies in quality or inventory to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain proficiency in relevant computerized systems and technologies
- Ensure equipment is in good working order and report any issues
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Follow health and safety protocols and quality standards
- Be available for overtime as required
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications for Success
- At least one year of experience in a warehouse setting
- A minimum of six months of successful experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ability to read and operate hand-held RF scanning devices and utilize Warehouse Management Systems
- Proficient in operating forklifts and pallet jacks
- Strong counting skills with attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting and moving products weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- Effective communication skills with colleagues and supervisors
- Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
