Job Title: Graphic Design Director
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Design Director to join our team at Union Church. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for developing and executing creative concepts that support our mission to unite people to purpose.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute creative concepts for digital and print materials, including design for our broadcast experiences.
* Lead the design team in the creation of visually appealing graphics for screens, social media, websites, print materials, and events.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand image across all touch points.
* Oversee the development of brand guidelines and ensure they are implemented in all design projects.
* Provide strategic input on brand development and visual storytelling to enhance the church's overall impact.
Requirements:
* 4+ years of relevant design experience.
* High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
* Demonstrated expertise in branding and brand development.
* Excellent team building and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.
* Keen attention to detail.
* Great time management skills & ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
* Remarkable communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team.
* Online portfolio.
Nice-to-Haves:
* Proven success with forward-thinking design within a church/non-profit setting.
* Understanding of marketing principles.
* Experience in video and/or motion graphics.
* Experience in apparel and email design.
