We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Otolaryngology Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. As an integral member of our team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients in the ambulatory and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with and provide medical care to patients with the supervision of a qualified physician.
- Perform complete history and physicals, and document in the medical record.
- Work in collaboration with staff physicians, house officers, nurses, and other members of the medical care team to ensure patient outcomes are achieved in a safe and efficient manner.
- Order and collect data using appropriate assessment techniques, relevant supporting diagnostic information, and diagnostic procedures where indicated.
- Assess for risks associated with the care of acute and complex chronically ill patients, including medication side effects, immobility, impaired nutrition, fluid, and electrolyte imbalance, immunocompetence, invasive interventions, and diagnostic procedures.
- Master's Degree in Nursing or related field.
- National Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- BLS certification.
- First Assistant Certification preferred but not required.
