The Georgia Orthopaedic Society is in search of a board-certified/board-eligible Orthopedic Adult Reconstruction Surgeon.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Completion of a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction is mandatory.
  • The surgical team comprises two fellowship-trained adult reconstruction surgeons along with specialists in trauma, sports medicine, hand surgery, and non-operative orthopedics.
  • Engagement in a 1:1 model with an advanced practice provider.
  • Access to a well-established Rehabilitation Services department featuring Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy (located on the same floor as the Orthopedic Department), Sports Physical Therapy, and Sports Enhancement Services.
  • Utilization of licensed Athletic Trainers as physician extenders in the clinic, supporting numerous high schools, semi-professional teams, and a Division III University.
  • Opportunity for outreach to regional critical access locations for both clinic and surgical patients.
  • Integration of a common Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) across the health system.
  • Affiliation with a Level II Trauma Center.
  • The Orthopedic Department has consistently received recognition from U.S. News & World Report as a leading performer in the state.
