We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Nurse RN specializing in Medical Surgical care. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.
Job Specifications:
- **Contract Duration:** 13 weeks
- **Experience Required:** Minimum of 2 years in a hospital setting
Licensure Requirements:
- Must possess an active Compact License at the time of submission
- BLS certification is mandatory
Work Schedule:
- **Shifts:** 3 weekend shifts and one Sunday
Unit Details:
- **Staff Composition:**
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4-5 RNs, 1 Patient Care Technician, 1 Secretary
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 3-4 RNs, 1 Patient Care Technician, 1 Secretary until 9 PM
- **Patient Ratios:** 5-6 patients per nurse
- **Equipment Utilized:** Baxter pumps, SCDs, wound vacs
- **Electronic Medical Records:** Meditech
Facility Information:
- **Bed Capacity:** 27 beds, expandable to 37 with double occupancy
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- **Essential Skills:** BLS certification
- **Preferred Experience:** Medical/Surgical background, End-of-life care
- **Personality Traits:** Outgoing and independent
Additional Information:
- **Floating Areas:** 4 East
- **Dress Code:** Navy Blue scrubs required.
