We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Clinton Manor Living Center. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in providing excellent person-centered care to individuals with developmental disabilities and high medical needs.
Responsibilities- Support residents in their daily living skills, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and restroom assistance.
- Encourage social activities and promote independence.
- Work collaboratively with other support staff to ensure a positive and safe environment.
- Document resident care and progress accurately and thoroughly.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with developmentally disabled adults preferred.
- CPR certification required.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
