As a Quality Assurance Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and freshness of our produce merchandise. You will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of produce products, including their quality, seasonality, and preparation methods.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of tasks and projects.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and customers to provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including receiving and stocking merchandise, maintaining inventory, and controlling shrinkage.

**What You'll Do:**

  • Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross-functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; and be flexible to meet business needs.
  • Be an Expert: Understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise (e.g., taste, preparation method, or use, seasonality); prepare products according to established standards; maintain product safety and follow company sanitation guidelines; and adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality.
  • Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
  • Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area; utilize digital tools; use perpetual inventory management techniques to stock and rotate department products; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and provide attention to customer needs; assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Be an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
