Forsyth Medical Center is looking for a dedicated ICU nurse to join our team, which emphasizes professional development, support, and exceptional care for our patients and staff. The Critical Care Registered Nurse will take on a pivotal role within the healthcare team by establishing meaningful relationships with patients and their support systems. This position involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate tailored care plans that promote optimal health outcomes or provide comfort during end-of-life care.
The Critical Care Registered Nurse will apply evidence-based practices and compassion to guide patients through their healthcare journeys. This role carries the responsibility, authority, and accountability for managing and delivering care in line with established policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
- A valid nursing license in North Carolina is mandatory.
- Preferred: At least one year of relevant nursing experience.
- Certifications: BLS Healthcare Provider and ACLS are required; CCRN, PCCN, or CNRN are preferred.
- Additional Skills: Experience in progressive/telemetry and/or critical care/neuro settings is advantageous.
