Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer service to members, answering questions and recommending bakery items.
- Bakery Operations: Prepare and package bakery products, including freshly baked goods and prepackaged items.
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments, rotating and storing products according to food safety and quality standards.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces in the bakery.
- Team Collaboration: Assist with baking and cake decorating as needed, and maintain all club policies and procedures.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a bakery or customer service-oriented environment is preferred.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of bakery products is preferred.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
The Bakery Associate will work in a comfortable indoor environment with frequent exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and/or coolers. The position requires frequent lifting of objects up to 30 pounds and may require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects greater than 30 pounds with assistance.
