Job Overview
A leading construction firm in Pelham, New York seeks a skilled Project Accountant to join their team. As an extension of project management, this role will oversee the financial aspects of projects from inception to completion. With a strong focus on analysis and reporting, this individual will provide critical insights to inform business decisions.

Responsibilities

Developing detailed financial analyses and reports for project managers, including labor efficiency, cost trending, and under/overbilling analysis.

Collaborating with the project management team to perform cost and revenue analyses for all projects.

Managing accounting functions for assigned projects, including invoices, payments, and compliance.

Maintaining knowledge of compliance requirements for assigned projects.

Key Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook applications.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, Adobe is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Project Accounting Systems such as Procore, Vista, Tiberline, etc.
  • 2-5 years of experience in job cost, cost accounting, and/or construction accounting.
  • Training in Accounting or Business via higher education is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
