Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Psychologist to join our team. As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths, challenges, and learning needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths, challenges, and learning needs.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
- Counseling and Guidance: Provide counseling and guidance to students individually or in group settings to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
- Team Collaboration: Facilitate and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, interventions, and transition plans.
- Intervention and Support: Design and deliver evidence-based interventions to promote positive behavior, academic success, and overall well-being.
- Education: Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Licensure and Certification: Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience: Experience working as a School Psychologist is highly desirable.
- Assessment and Interpretation: Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
- Special Education Knowledge: Sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Behavioral Intervention: Strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
- Confidentiality and Ethics: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
