Job Opportunity: Cloud Storage Solutions Administrator

We are seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Cloud Storage Solutions Administrator at Storage Strategies Inc. This position focuses on the management and optimization of data storage and backup systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical assistance for cloud storage solutions within a data center framework.
  • Oversee data storage capacity, evaluate data consumption, and uphold storage management protocols.
  • Administer software and hardware licensing agreements related to storage systems.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts for storage-related challenges and work closely with vendor support teams.
  • Set up storage products, maintain configurations for backup software, and aid in disaster recovery strategies.
  • Conduct routine inspections of storage and backup equipment, investigate and implement solutions for identified issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with storage technologies such as NAS, NetApp Filers, Veritas Backup Appliances, and MS-Azure.
  • Proficient in MS-Office applications.
  • Experience in storage consolidation, performance optimization, and archiving solutions.
  • Experience with Azure Recovery Services (ARS) is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT sector.
  • Possession of an active Secret clearance or the capability to reactivate it.
  • Sec+ certification is required.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as NCDA or NetBackup Certification are preferred.
