Vcu Health System is seeking a highly experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join its team. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for optimizing patient outcomes through evidence-based medication therapy, developing and implementing medication use policies and procedures, and providing education and training to healthcare staff on medication safety and effectiveness.

Key responsibilities include monitoring, screening, and verification of all drug-related orders; ensuring expedited preparation and dispensing of all dosage forms; resolving drug therapy problems; clarifying and correcting problematic drug orders; and supervising the actions of Pharmacy Interns and Certified Pharmacy Technicians.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with state-of-the-art drug distribution and clinical service methods is a plus.
