Physical Therapist

Memorial Hospital - Chester, IL is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing a full range of physical therapy services to patients in an interdisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans to improve their mobility and function.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapy, to help patients recover from injuries or illnesses.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a four-year bachelor's degree program in physical therapy or a related field.
- Current licensure to practice physical therapy in the State of Illinois.
- Ability to work with adult and geriatric populations, with a preference for experience working with patients with physical disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
- Position requires walking, sitting, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, carrying, transferring, and lifting patients.
- Palpation skills, keen observation skills, depth perception, color distinction, sense of smell, and manual dexterity are required.
- Position requires some mental and stressful work.
