Global Recruiters of The High Plains is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to drive sales and provide technical support within the animal nutrition and feed additive sector. This dynamic role focuses on expanding Ruminant sales across Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, and Kansas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and grow market presence by identifying and engaging with key nutritionists, manufacturers, and distributors in the assigned territory.
- Develop a strategic plan to build relationships and introduce the company's products and services.
- Secure initial business agreements or commitments from at least three new clients within the first year.
Position Company Value and Solutions:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the company's products, services, and value propositions by the end of the first year.
- Successfully position these solutions to meet the specific needs of customers in the region, leading to a 10% growth in sales pipeline by the 12-month mark.
Participate in Industry Events:
- Attend and represent the company at select regional and national symposiums and conferences within the first year.
- Use these opportunities to network, gather market intelligence, and enhance the company's visibility within the industry.
Critical Subtasks:
- Learning and Integration: Spend the first 90 days getting to know the company's culture, people, products, and customer base.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive territory sales plan by the end of the first quarter.
- Customer Relationship Management: Regularly engage with customers to understand their needs and expectations.
