We are seeking a skilled Radiation Technologist to join our team as a Catheterization Laboratory Radiation Technologist. This 13-week assignment will provide you with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing your technical skills and expertise to deliver high-quality patient care.
In this role, you will be responsible for communicating and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide and coordinate patient care. You will also monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes, administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation, and maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
To be successful in this position, you must have strong interpersonal skills, ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment. You should also be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail. Additionally, you must have cardiac catheterization lab experience, be a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), have a valid RT or RCIS license, and BLS certification.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel.
