About the Role

The Air Force SEEK EAGLE team at DCS Corp is seeking a skilled developer to join our mission planning component. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of mission planning for the Air Force and future weapons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Air Force SEEK EAGLE Office and Weapon Agile Release Team in analyzing, estimating, designing, and implementing features and user stories.
  • Collaborate with software developers, testers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in iteration planning meetings, daily stand-ups, and technical coordination meetings.
  • Work with SMEs and project management to analyze new functional requirements, provide feasibility assessments, and level of effort.
  • Follow the team's software development process and procedures, and peer review code and documentation to ensure quality standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to technical design documentation and maintenance of the software, and work with technical lead and senior developers to derive technical requirements from functional requirements.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline, plus at least 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance within 6-9 months.
  • Experience with software development in C#, React,.NET Standard,.NET Core, and JAVA, as well as Windows and/or Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of Web APIs, microservices, and service-based architecture.
  • Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, and Bit Bucket.
  • Familiarity with Domain Driven Design, React, and/or Web-based GUI design, microservices, and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with 8750 Certified or applicable certifications to support the dev environment for the Next Gen Mission planning specifications.
