The Stateline Family YMCA is actively seeking part-time Childcare Educators for our Beloit, WI location. Become a vital part of a progressive non-profit organization dedicated to fostering programs that promote a healthy spirit, mind, and body for everyone.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

Morning and Afternoon shifts are open.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute educational programs in accordance with established guidelines and state licensing regulations.
  • Develop and implement daily lesson and activity plans tailored to children's developmental needs.
  • Oversee the safety and well-being of children during classroom activities and throughout the facility.
  • Conduct systematic observations and assessments of each child's progress.
  • Facilitate parent meetings and maintain constructive communication with families, encouraging their involvement as volunteers.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the program area and equipment, reporting any issues to the maintenance team and director.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation as required by the program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

Prior experience in a child development setting is preferred.

Education:

A degree or certification in childcare is required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Skills:

Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate activities that support child development.

Strong interpersonal skills to build genuine relationships with diverse individuals, including colleagues, parents, and children.
