Job Summary:

The Master Control Switcher is a critical role within Imagicomm Communications, LLC, responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality broadcast content to our audience. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring the on-air signal, verifying the accuracy of scheduled elements, and confirming the on-air readiness of the Traffic log against the automation playlist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-Air Signal Monitoring: Verify the quality of the on-air signal, ensuring that video and audio elements are accurate and meet our high standards.
  • Traffic Log Analysis: Review the Traffic log to confirm the accuracy of scheduled material and ensure that all elements are on-air ready.
  • Automation Playlist Coordination: Verify the accuracy of the automation playlist against the Traffic log, ensuring that all elements are correctly scheduled and on-air ready.
  • Discrepancy Reporting: Create clear, accurate, and detailed reports of any on-air discrepancies, providing recommendations for resolution.
  • Equipment Operation: Manually operate on-air equipment with the same reliability as automation systems during high-pressure situations, such as human and equipment error.
  • Commercials and Database Management: Ingest commercials and database programs from electronic and linear forms, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Work flexible shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of our 24/7 broadcast operations.

Requirements:

  • Strong Knowledge of Broadcast Operations: Well-versed in broadcast operations and procedural requirements, with a strong understanding of the importance of accuracy and on-air readiness.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to identify and report on-air discrepancies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to create accurate and detailed reports.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to work effectively under pressure, with a strong sense of urgency and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

Salary: $16/hour
