Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Technician to join our team at Ohio Machinery Co.

As a key member of our nationally recognized team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with Peterbilt vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on Peterbilt vehicles to dealership and factory standards
  • Work closely with the Service Supervisor and Service Writer/Advisor to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow
  • Interact with dealership personnel, manufacturer representatives, and customers to provide exceptional customer service
  • Mentor less-experienced technicians and contribute to a positive and productive team environment
  • Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local regulations, including EPA, OSHA, and DOT guidelines
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a vocational diploma or degree in diesel or truck repair preferred
  • Four to six years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
  • A CDL license is recommended, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Preferred certifications include MX Engine, Cummins Heavy Duty, Cummins Mid-Range, Allison Transmission, or Eaton Transmission
