Job Summary:

Soliant Health is seeking a skilled and passionate School Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for the upcoming school year. As a key member of our team, you will provide speech therapy interventions to an assigned caseload and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to determine students' communication needs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create and implement individualized treatment plans, including IEPs, to improve students' speech and language skills.
  • Provide Speech and Language Therapy Services: Provide speech and language therapy services to students in individual or group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with Educational Teams: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' speech and language needs are met and to provide support and resources as needed.
  • Stay Current with Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology through continued education and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Licensure: Hold current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Washington.
  • Washington Teaching Certification: Possess Washington teaching certification.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence: Hold Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Previous School-Based Experience: Possess previous experience working in a school-based setting.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
